Start some garlic oil today. What can you do with garlic oil? Trying mixing it with some garlic vinegar (strained from your pickled garlic) and making a salad dressing with it. Or, use it in your ear to help kill off infection/aches. Or, use it to drizzle onto freshly baked bread, over steamed vegetables or any other time you use oil for cooking. Or, rub it on your foot to kill off athlete’s foot. So many choices!

I’ve been playing around to create videos to add to this website for help with identifying herbs and such. The quality isn’t very good at this point because I’m using my camera video function but I’m working towards getting a camcorder so I can bring high quality videos to you. Enjoy!
This first video shows garlic that came up on its own last year. It’s growing pretty tall and I can start clipping off the ends to use in cooking.
This second video shows garlic I planted late last fall. It is just getting started but by July should be ready for harvest.

Did you know that singing is a great, easy way to learn about something? Think about how many songs you can sing without looking at the words…it sticks to your brain and making learning easy. Sing the garlic song and add more verses if you can think of any then teach it to all of your friends so they can learn about garlic too!
