Herbal Studies: Herbs for Pregnancy and Childbirth
Herbalist, Homebirther and Wise Woman Kristine Brown will teach us about several herbs for use with pregnancy, birth and family health. As we learn herb names and properties, we will also be making a handful of herbal remedies--and you will get to bring home these creations to put in your birth kit or family medicine chest. We will work with tinctures, dry herb mixes, and salves, and have time for discussion and questions. We will only have time to make a few 'potions', but will talk about others that can be useful for pregnancy, birth and general health.

Whether you are a beginner with herbs or already have some experience, this workshop will add to your ability to use herbs effectively and wisely in your family's health. Bring your questions along with your prior experiences and special recipes to share!
