Details:
For $10 (plus $5 deposit refundable upon the safe return of a live and flourishing chick) you will receive a newly hatched chick (hatched around April 1), a decorative box to keep it in, a package of feed, a keepsake adoption certificate with your child's name on it, and instructions on the care of a live chick. You will need to supply a lamp for warmth, 2 small saucers (for food and water) and a predator (dog/cat) free, draft free location in your home.
Return the chick to us alive and well by June 1, 2007 and you will receive your $5 deposit fee.
Chicks may be picked up April 4 - 7 by appointment. We can deliver them on Saturday, April 7 in the evening for an additional $2.00 fee.
